A part-time program that consists
of 12 semester hours of introductory courses in fish and shellfish aquaculture
and aquarium/water garden management, one semester of hands-on practical
applications, and a course in establishing, financing, and operating
a small business. Graduates of the certificate program may continue
their education in the diploma or associate in applied science programs,
or they may wish to use the knowledge they have gained to begin production
of fish or shellfish on their own fish farm.
